Want to help google BHTrails?

You Can.

The way that Google works is by tracking links, so for example the link New York Yankees, while sending the user to yankees.com makes searches for "New York Yankees" most likely to send users to yankees.com.

In order to up BHTrails on the search engines (google) we need to make common search terms relevant to what BHTrails.com is about related to the URL http://www.BHTrails.com. So, for example, Using terms like Black Hills Hiking, South Dakota Hiking, Black Hills Hiking Trails, Black Hills Mountain Biking, etc... while directing the links to BHTrails.com will help raise BHTrails on the results list, hence sending more people to the site, hence growing the database, hence uncovering more trails for the rest of us.

I realize that most of the visitors of BHTrails.com will not be ultra web savvy, not have their own website and the like to post these above mentioned links. However if you do have a favorite forum or someplace that allows HTML links on them I encourage you to help grow BHTrails.com by placing these links.

Below I have placed a few links and the correlating HTML code used to create the link.

If you want to post any of these links just copy the code from above and paste it wherever you are posting the link. This is undoubtedly the most efficient way to spread the word about BHTrails.com, other than word of mouth of course.

If you have any questions at all, just post them in the comments section below.
